One of the first photos I took with my dSLR.
Quite a bit of editing here, and re-edited specially for this challenge.
Cropped, made a few selection layers, gaussian blur and levels to bg, levels etc to lemurs, a little dodging and burning in fur/eyes. For this entry I then made two copies of the JPEG, with different levels settings and combined them in Photomatix Pro. Added this over the (normal levels) JPEG and adjusted opacity as seems right (original HDR was very over the top)

It was yours! I knew I'd seen it before. This is just such a perfect shot. The re-edit is quite nice, too! Congrats on a very good score (though a tad low, in my humble opinion) in a tough challenge, but mostly congrats on such a wonderful photograph!
Interesting and amazing capture of the lemurs. Good DOF and colors. I want to see this cropped as perfect square and make the lovable subjects in the center. This one is slightly off-centered and is neither a square nor a rectangle. I hope this will do well.
I can't remember to whom this belongs, but it's just adorable now as when I saw it before. Great color in the eyes, nice composition, warm rich background.
