This is awesome..
We have a great print of my wife on our wedding turning and looking over her shoulder with a massive cigar between her teeth!

I'm worried about you, Pedro. Twice in a row you've entered a photo that I love. This could spell scoring doom for you.

DPC knows photography like America knows soccer, and this score and placement proves it.
Criminally under-appreciated shot here.

I look at this picture, look at the score, and then I bang my head against the wall. You are truly one of the most original photographers out here...

Ya know... there are in the box thinkers and out of the box thinkers.
There are brilliant photos..and not so brilliant photos..
but this one right here???? Brilliant!!! Based on the majority of comments you rec'd as well.. I'd say the people who get it are as magical and rare as this photo is.
Timeless work P. Rox .. to quote Az.. Rocks!!!
and the fact that your brain gave this portrait life.. is why you remain one in a million to me.. one of my photography heros.
** not a bad score given the amount that entered..but still a gross injustice in my opinion **

Interesting portrait. Not your run-of-the-mill wedding photos. Also has a retro feel to it (maybe that's just the cigarette - you don't see those in photgraphy much anymore).

Can't help myself, I need to say this she looks alot like a famous romanian actress "Maia Morgenstern" (Mary from Mel Gibson's passion of the Christ) //images.google.ro/images?q=maia+morgenstern&hl=ro&lr=&sa=X&oi=images&ct=title
Good picture!

An excellent wedding photo! Certainly not the 'usual'. Only thing I findslightl distracting is I am not sure if the photographer is standing at an angle to the model or whether the image isn't quite straight (hope this makes sense)

As far as true photography goes, this is what it's all about. When I look at this I get a sense of timelessness. What's rare about this wedding photo is that it has a captured moment that both the bride and advanced photographic eyes can appreciate and cherish. It's a nice piece of commerical work and art. It's a brave move to enter something like this in a community like DPC. It's contrasty, grainy, her heads chopped off and most of all- fucking awesome. Keep it real and take the powah back. 10
