My friend's little girl Trinity. She was being shy most of the day, but I finally got her to smile for me. I don't get much opportunity to practice portrait photography so I don't know how this is going to compare to a lot of other submissions. I also don't have a studio to work with, so my portraits always end up being done outside so I hope that isn't counted against me.

Thanks so much everyone for the great comments. I really enjoy taking pics of this kid. She is such a sweetheart. I did a previous photo shoot of her and her little sister for my friend that was more "professional". We got them dressed up and took them to the botanical gardens. I will have to post some of those photos sometime soon.

She's a sweetheart! Love the highlights on the hair. If I were to make a suggestion, it would be to dodge the whites of her eyes a bit more. Nice work!
