This is the daughter of a dear friend of mine. She wanted to have a real good looking picture for her moms birthday and this the result.
I used two studio flash light systems for this shot.

Very nice job on the tones and lighting here!
Only suggestion I have is perhaps a little tighter crop, dropping off some of the bottom part, just above where the ends of her hair is.
nice enough, but the bottom third of the image just seems unnecessary. there's too much detail in the clothing and without a razor sharp focus, it comes across rather distracting. i'd probably feel a bit more of a connection with her if there were a hint of emotion in the capture.
She has beautiful hair and skin. Could probably be a model for more than a day . . . . I like the composition and how she is not looking at the camera.

But really, this is a beautiful shot. Looks like something out of a fashion magazine. The colors and the tones are perfect. Maybe leaving some more space to the left and taking advantage of the rule of thirds might improve the composition?
