 The view from where I lived and worked last summer in Southampton, Hampshire (UK). A massive thunderstorm was coming, but the sun was still shining on the buildings.

I might have ruined this image with post-editing, I'm not sure, I tried my best to enhance the sky to make it look as impressive and imposing as it did the day I shot it.

The color of the sky works well as a foil to the bricks and church. However, the focus looks a little soft, and the composition isn't quite "there."

Dark skies, to be sure - but not "exciting" skies - no contrast in the clouds = a bit dull.

I think a crop without the houses to the right may work better, drawing the eye more to the lighted tower.
