I went on an expedition during the summer holidays to an old copper mine in the mountains, and on the way home I took Route 15 and stopped off at this stream just before the road with many bends climbs up and down a mountain into Kanuma.
RAW conversion in RSE. Two copies, one unchanged which I used as the background in PSE3, the other one with changed exposure compensation and contrast.
On the background layer, I used curves and played around with selective colour levels, stacked on the second copy. Levels, boost of saturation, USM, resize, USM again, save.
I don't expect it will do very well, but hey, I have no idea what my best pic of 2006 was really...

So nice that you've managed to balance leaving the shutter open long enough to softly blur the water yet keep a nicely exposed sharp environment.
Well done.
I've simply passed over most of the landscapes in this challenge, but the strength of composition, and genuine communication of a place's mood here makes this one worth more attention.
lovely detail and good water action...the composition looks a little awkward to me, as if I want to move the camera just o get a better vantage point...that's just me though
