Beautiful capture of the sunbeam and lighting of the green hills. For me it would be stronger if it were cropped down from the top just to the edge of where the sunbeam spilled out of the clouds and cropped from the left to almost that same point. That would eliminate the huge blown spot and a lot of the very dark negative space on the bottom left. If the tree on the closest ridge could have had just a little more light this would have been a 10. So it's just a 9. ;) Congrats.

A beautiful reward for a year worth of shooting, the lighting is of course, spectacular, good luck in the challenge, 10

Nice countryside. Maybe could have included less of the sky to avoid that distracting blown out patch at the top.

Nice! cropping out the top inch lets my eyes focus on the beautifully highlighted hilltops.

This is heavenly, pardon the pun.
There are those rare moments in life we get experience for but a mere few seconds, but preserved here, forever.
Superb timing.

Wow, awesome find! But I think your should have lightened several parts (for example the foreground) more up during postprocessing.

Wow, looks unreal.
I think it works really well, except i don't like the dead space to the left, and feel that if you could have shifted your perspective further right and possibly given it a panoramic crop it would be outstanding.

Amazing capture of the ray, that is, of course, assuming it was natural and not photoshopped. I like the rolling hills

i love how the light is hitting the land here. not much you could do about nature, but what a stronger shot it would be if that shaft of light hit the tree in the foreground. it would probably help to crop a bit of that blown out sky

The ray of light is beautiful, but the overexposure ruins the picture completely. You should invest in a graduated ND filter.
