I spent many hours this holiday season attempting to capture Ginger in all her glory. This was not one of my favorite shots initially, due to the off center framing but after looking at the others and coming back past this shot, it jumped out at me.

The coolest composition for a close-up cat shot I have ever seen. Really nice. I like the way his gaze leads out of the corner of the frame, too. Like he is stalking something, as cats do. I know it is a personal preference, but I feel like this is a little underexposed and flat. The white fur is just lightier than middle gray. A curves adjustment could really make this sing! Still a 7 from me.
