2. Adjusted levels, Hue/ Saturation and Brightness Contrast of background layer - desaturating all but red channel
3. Added layer to include sky and myself with gas can. Adjusted blue and red channels to increase contrast in sky and on can.

Theres a gas station on every corner where I live !! Nice shot here, and I really like the tones you set. The composition is nicely set up in the frame with the tire. Oh, and yea, I drive a Passat.

Peter, just wanted you to know I gave you a 10 for this one while voting in this challenge. I thought you captured the emotive perfectly, and the selective desat really works here. Great job.
