Shot this scene originally the night last month when I took my Free Study XVI entry. It was too good to pass up the chance to enter it in this challenge, so I went back tonight to reshoot it.
Editing: sharpening, curves, a little cloning to eliminate small black spaces in the upper right and left

I saw this shot and thought it would do much better. The tones on the memorial itself are soft and warm and centered perfectly and the focus is crisp and clear. I think this is one of the best photos I have ever seen of the TJ memorial.
the cropping does not help this photo - I would have either cropped even closer around Jefferson or would have brought it out so the foreground of the memorial was in view
