this is a very beautiful shot, really nice capturing of the light rays, but I'm curious, did you do any touch-ups? if so, which software/method did you use?

I love that picture. Where was it taken? I have seen scenes like that many times but have never been able to capture them. I heard Bill Bryson say about writing that he writes about what many experience but he captures the detail. This picture really, really captures the detail and the feeling of morning rays. Congrats.

You took a pretty crappy background and turned it into a very successful picture. Good job on pp.

The light makes this for me.. yet does not distract from the theme of the competition as the fence is superb too.

Nice sun rays and a good composition

Lovely use of light and leading lines.

Nice shot, but the processing turned the snow a strange hue.

I would sure like to see this processed a little differently for a bit more "pop", but really like the softness and composition as well as the delicate lighting in this shot.

I love the light in this photo... with the fog it makes it look almost surreal.

Very effective. I would have tried playing with the black-point to make the tree-line a little darker and maybe more distinct from the sky (particularly over on the right).

This is lovely, and I think will do very well. I give it a nine. In my personal opinion, the shadows on the trees seem a bit light.

Nice photo, those shots are hard to come by with the sun breaking in-8
