The cool blues in the white of the gull makes me think that this entire scene looked a bit different originally. Looks like the selection line is apparent on the gulls right wing (our left when viewing) - where there should be gaps in the tips of the feathers it looks blue. Hmmm. Now I'll have to go look at a seagull pic. :) Certainly met the centered part of the challenge. He-he. Good luck.
GORGEOUS! ... The (whatever that oriental word you use for amount of blurring of the background) is perfect! You can see what is in the background while still having the bird IN YOUR FACE. Great capture! ... 9
