Wow, thanks for all the comments. Didn't expect to do this well on my second entry, though I still think I could've done a lot better on this shot. Unfortunately, the parade began as I was climbing the hill to get to a higher viewpoint, so I had to stop and shoot. If I had more time, I like to think that I would've framed it better. Very nice shot, gave it a 7, like everything about it except I would have wanted a wider shot to see all the firework or at least more of it and also it´s kindof too blown out for my taste, the rest I like.
Interesting background. The sky looks very light and the fireworks look strangely different, I guess from the length of the exposure. Interesting, though.
Good idea and motive, it would have been better if you would have aimed your camera a bit higher so you would have got more of the fireworks in the frame, but that's hard to see before the shot. 6 from me, happy new year and good luck!
This is a pretty good composition with the mountains lit up by the skiers and the landscape included in the burst of fire on the left. I think the shot could improve with a little less brightness overall and maybe a bit of contrast. I like the shot, but it just looks a little washed out to me. I hope that helps some. Good luck in the challenge.
