I have thought of this picture a few times, I really like it alot..is it close to you...it seems that it would fit in several challenges that I can think of...quite interesting

Very interesting! The subject's good, but I can't help but think there was something more you could have done with the shoot... either in lighting or angle. You used depth of field well here too.
