Sorry about the comment yesterday, really bad day and I took it out on a bunch of people. I agree that your image is of inanimate objects, I did realize that they were bronze. I guess my major problem with it is the background, it's very distracting, still lifes almost always have a very plain patterned or neutral background as to not distract from the object of interest, but I guess not everyone has access to a studio so I won't count that against you. Not to be offensive but it appears a snapshot that was taken with a disposable camera. A much shallower DOF would have helped this image greatly. Exposure problems include blocking up under the throat and burnt out on the snout. I will conceed that this could be construed as a still life and will re-rate it as such. |
