sometimes the nicest things happen jus so near to ur home, and environment u are so familiar. At a place where i live, beauty was found just 10 metres off my main door.

When I first looked through the Still Life challenge entries (only to look, I didn't enter and wasn't voting) This was the one photo that stood out. For me, this is an excellent representation of Still Life... a natural capture of an ordinary place from real life. Only the lighting brings out the quiet drama.
Sweet. Now you need to turn up the intensity of the light from the two windows, completely bleeding out the apartment building across the way. I can't give you the points b/c this needs some work...but keep at it!
I love the lines and shadows. I'm not sure how this fits into a still life challenge though. Perhaps it's better suited for a Shadows challenge. This is, however, a great picture.
I love this architectural shot. maybe the image could have been angled slightly more to the right - avoiding the 'down' stairs and making more of the shadows from the chairs?
