This is my kitty cat. His name is Loki. I was thinking about this challenge when I spotted him lying on the floor looking at me. I lay on the floor in front of him and started shooting. Simple as that ... :)
I added a little contrast, usm, very small frame, hey presto!

The focus is on the bridge of the nose. I realize you may have done that purposefully because that's the center of the photograph, but it bugs me not to have the focus on the eye.
Please understand that I'm not a cat person, and cat's aren't fond of me either. Plus there are an inordinate amount of felines in this challenge.
..That said, This is far and away the best cat shot I've seen and I am happy to rate this in my top picks for the challenge.
