sometimes you plan alot for a photo, set the gear up how it should be, and the photo still comes out mediocre. i'm not totally pleased with this photo. but it took like an hour to take. In photography its not the effort that counts.

I love this concept/response to grace and the image is very nice. Hard to not get the light streaks on the wet fingers and clay but the image works very well for me
Not a bad idea, but the flash is not helping to convey the hands grace. It flattens the image. Whenever possible, when you have the possibility to arrange the lighting of a subject (which is the case of almost indoor shots), it's better to try several lighting possibilities, including backlighting. It always gives a more artistic presentation of the subject.
