I have half a dozen outtakes for this challenge. At first I thought 'fences, how frigging boring'. Then with all the holiday time off, I got to spend a few days chasing the subject and really had a hard time deciding on which shot to submit. Going with this one as it is almost rollover. This is not my favorite, though it is one of the two most dpc friendly (the other being color and probably friendlier, but I like BW so here it is).

It was an experiment in dodge and burn gone wrong and I ran out of time to mess with it, yet I knew it would score well on DPC and look, indeed it did. Draw your own conclusions.
nice picture--it almost doesn't look real to me; was there a lot of editing done? maybe too much. great framing with the other horses and the ominous sky above
