The white ray that is shining downward is very distracting. It appears to cut the photo in half.

With the rules the way they are for this challenge I would think they would have been a way to avoid burning out so much of the frame.

I'm not sure what you intended the white bar through the center of your photo to be, but I find that it detracts from the rest of your photo.

I think The split in the clouds are too straight for me that is I think they would look more natural if they were more curved. (4)

Sorry but I don´t really enjoy these type of photos of the sun, I look more for photos that arent so completely blown out and have some detail and texture in them, I also think that the color noise in the sky and cloud are a bit strong for my taste, like you went totally overboard when boosting the saturation. Voted a 3 on this as it at least meets the challenge, sort of, in my book.
