It is well focused and the limited DOF correctly drive my attention on the main subject, but I still do not find it interesting enough. Maybe a different composition or a more interesting bg could improve the shot.

This contest is deceptively easy. Batteries are not very interesting and finding something that makes an image stand out is not easy.

Focus is slightly off, and the cluttered objects don't really help the image. I think if you had just removed the objects on the left it would have improved the composition a bit.
