The polar bears in Ueno Zoo aren't exactly white, but at least this one is less brown than the other one. I actually went to Ueno to see an exhibition of paintings owned by the Hermitage, St Petersburg. The zoo is next door, so I went in for the first time. It's only ¥600, whereas my local zoo is ¥1000 and vastly inferior.
Curves, levels adjustment layer, USM, and wow, I did a gradient layer too in honour of Bear_Music.
Resized, and a bit of dodging around the muzzle, USM, then stroked two borders. And rotated.
