Very high marks for brown, but I like all the other things as well - the highlights, the reflections - they give a mysterious context, and really as a caffeine addict, the essence of coffee is the unbeatable if illusory lightness of being? Steam rising. (I have problems with the border, not just the mentioned off centredness, but I would consider white alone without the inner and outer brown/black OR maybe an even wider white border with whatever. Not something I would let influence my vote).
Nice sharp picture, I would have tried to avoid the reflection in cup (not the bright spot). It looks like an image of the photographer and draws the attention. The background and damping coffee are superb though
i love this, the reflection in the mug is very cool looking, liek the head of a manikin or something, and i love the choice for a border, it's definetly a border shot, in fact, if i saw this pictured framed in a store, i'd but it for my wall :) definetly a 10
More light, reduce reflection juuuuuust a hair IMO... good use of brown though and nice setup! Very simple, any coffee house would love to have this on the wall!!
