I don't care for the large blur in the foreground. I want to see more of the toe of the shoe. The crop at the top is too tight; it nicks off the top edge of the scallop. The brown is excellent, and the focus (where it is sharp) captures the texture of the leather very nicely. Also I think a diagonal shot might have worked well for this.

Decent depth of field shot... not the right thing or the right amount of it is focus however.

the boot is cut off at the foot, and the perspective does not make this very interesting, to me :(.

Maybe it is just because I have been staring at this monitor for almost 12 hours now here at work but this picture hurts my eyes with the large blury area in front.

don't care for the compositon here ... I'd like to see more of the boot and the grain of the leather ...
