There were a couple about the cropping and this was a tricky one. The original shot had everything in it but without cropping the left hand rose the shot seemed very inbalanced and i think the composition was better this way. But then i know cropping elements off does make the shot badly composed.
Really cool setup, love the use of brown, only suggestion would be getting all parts of the flower and sticks in the shot. But great work non the less.
