This is my wife Melissa, it was a very easy shoot to do. Not only because she is beautiful but because of her natural brown hair and eyes. I think like in the details of the challenge it described "Brown" as being usually dull and least appreciated. But she makes brown look so gorgeous. Hence the title. Only my 2nd challenge but really looking forward to some more constructive critism.

First of all, nice looking lady :) Well lighting is pretty good, composition too and well pretty much nothing that I can see wrong with this shot except for one big issue, and that is the focus lying slightly in front of her eyes so they are a bit out of focus, take better care when focusing at 1.8 aperture and you should be all set. Also I personally would have used a higher contrast in post processing but that´s just my taste.
Your wife is gorgeous! Great model, so good job marrying her :-) I think you got great comments below. Personally, I like the pose a lot and as mentioned below, the makeup is great. You are doing so well for just starting out!!
the eyes, not the hands should be in the sharpest focus, but i give you a 6 anyway. nice pose, well lit. watch showing too much of the flat side of the hand, makes it too big. i would have tried having her leaning into the photo, not BACK from the photo...IMO
It looks like her lips are more in focus than her eyes. I think this would look much crisper if her eyes were in focus. It is a very nice photo though.
