one of the photos I liked the best in this challenge, even if I have a nagging suspicion that I know the girl.
Way underrated

After spending some time really appreciating this its pretty much flawless.
Not to my taste on first glance, but upon closer inspection it's remarkable.

Good piece of work, I like the pose and colours. A well-recreated tribute shot. 8

One of my all-time favourite paintings...but I am sad to see that you left out/neglected the primary detail...the pearl earring ...? I wonder why you went for that option instead of a full recreation. It's so clear and precise that at first glance it looks like the painting and then you look again and it's not...part of the great effect this has.
Fantastic notion though: this could lead to a whole challenge topic - Recreating the Master's Works.

A good rendition of that painting. The light got a little to harsh on her face, imo.

This is ribbon-worthy. The pose, colours and lighting are right on. I don't know a lot of Vermeer's work but I bet he'd be proud to produce something this lovely.
Superb.

The sad look in her eyes. Maybe because she has no Earring. Light slightly to bright give you a 6

This is the one for me. I would be proud to have entered this image. A truly wonderful rework of Vameer's painting right down to that side glance.
This deserves a GOLD ribbon not just a blue.
