Great capture, Lesley. I am surprised this awesome image was not among the ten highest. So natural and casual.

I am sure some people might vote this down because of the human element, but I really like this photo. Very emotive (sweet)! Only nitpick is I wish there was a little more light at the top for the dog's ears.

5 - Quite a nice shot of the dog, but the girl is the main 'star' in this in my opinion, therefore not quite being as strong a 'Pet Portrait' as I would like to have seen. Toning works well.

Great photo. This portrays the essence of having a pet. Unconditional Love.

Veerrry cute. I love the black and white. The focus is good and plenty of detail. I like the close up composition.

SWEEET! That girl seems to thoroughly enjoy her tongue bath.

great shot ... I feel like it's more of a snapshot than a portrait ... really well done nonetheless ...

a nice photo in a sea of average photos. I know this was "pet portrait" but the joy of the girl brings to life the joy brought to us by our pets. 8
