Sorry but I am not finding much interest in a "portrait of the ear. Of course MO.

1 - Good macro, but not quite what the Challenge is about in my opinion.

This is gross and I wouldn't really consider it a portrait.

Based on the title I am assuming this is a pet ear? Without the title, I would not understand what the picture is. It is an amazing close up but doesn't tell me too much about your pet other than it is furry lol

IMO this shot is a bit to MACRO-ish for this particular challenge, though it is a great shot.

Do we get to play guess the species? I think it's a cat.
I'll give you something for having an original idea...but it just doesn't work for me.

Interesting choice of subject matter. I guess some interest as a macro - but in a portrait challenge it doesnt really speak to me.

great macro, but doesn't really cross me as a portrait, which is what the challenge is.

Pet or a dust bunny under the bed? In any event, this doesn't say "portrait" to me at all.

A little too close for my taste, for a pet portrait. I can't tell what it is.

... I could not even guess what kind of animal this is, if it is an animal. would work better as an abstract macro than a portrait...

This is not a portrait, in my opnion. In fact, I wouldn't even know it was an animal!

doesn't do it for me as a portrait. I couldn't really even tell you what this is without a contextual hint of some sort.
