Did it really say "Use light bulbs to photograph ..." Good control of lighting/reflections and DOF (extended DOF was a good choice here). Makes me want to play around with it in multiple color schemes -- maybe putting them all on one print pop-art style.
The top line of the bulb against the dark background is very nice. Ironic to have the subject be a light source that isn't the source of the light :) The diagonal composition is good.
