Littlest daughter during a photo shoot to make pics for grandparents for Christmas.
Shot in color and converted to B&W using the channel mixer in GIMP.
I debated removing the catchlights (they're from the reflector - she's laying on the table & I rotated the pic), but decided I didn't have enough skill to do it properly.
What a lovely little girl, she has beautiful eyes and eyebrows! I like how you have captured the start of a smile. I dont find the catchlights distracting at all the only thing that bothers me slightly is the harsh light on the left side of the frame. That said I am sure the grandparents will be really pleased to get this for christmas! :o)
