This image is a bit too small and appears out of focus, although that could be the effect of not being able to see it closer. I do agree though, that the Praying Mantis is a 'graceful' creature.
I think these insects are graceful too, but it doesn't really come across in this image. The composition is good, but the image is too small and blurry.
I think a praying mantis would be a good subject for this challenge. However, this shot is very blurry and the lighting is not very good. I wish the image itself was larger so I could see the details better.
I like this subject a much! :-) Anyway, it's a bit too blurry for me, I would have used a simpler and more homogenic background to highlight the Mantis, and the lighting is also a bit glaring for me above him.
