Syrah is my 7 month old German Shepherd. Going for a run at the river is one of her favourite activities.
Today the light at sunset was particularly nice, it gave some good emphasis to her colour, so I took some photos. Then when I returned, I found this week's challenge was Pet Portrait - how convenient!

7 - Nice outdoor full body shot. Nice elements too. Could just be visual but looks like it needs a nudge rotate up on the right. The wire/stick/something left foreground, slighty distracting, but minor.
lovely outdoor setting, lovely action shot... being picky the tall grass in the front and out of focus branch twig at the bottom... draw attention away from the dog. Still lovely timing and wonderfull picture!
Good exposure and saturations. Subject appears to be falling down hill, a lower point of view might draw us in better. Slightly oversharpened as well. Nice eyes and expression. Stick in foreground to the left is a distraction.
