megan moulton-levy, senior tennis player at william & mary, photographed for the alumni magazine. she and her partner captured the national doubles championship this past season.
this was shot to be a full-page bleed, composed so that there would be room for an article title at the top and room for the article to start on the right. when i was given the assignment, this was the shot that i immediately envisioned. i am so stoked about how it turned out, and can't wait to see it in print.
As a former sports shooter for a major city newspaper, my frist reaction is this image could be improved if the ball was in the frame. I find myself looking around the frame for the tennis ball.
