This little "scene" seemed to me to be very typical of several aspects of Rome. I shot it partly for that reason and partly because I loved the well preserved and wonderful detail in the relief of the two little cherubs in contrast to the decaying wall surrounding it. I also thought the shadow of the lamp added an interesting touch.
