Challenge: Death (Basic Editing)
Camera: Sony DSLR-A100
Lens: Konica Minolta AF 28-80mm f/3.5-5.6
Location: German Roman Catholic Orphanage, Buffalo, New York
Date: Dec 2, 2006
Aperture: f/4.5
ISO: 100
Shutter: 5.00
Galleries: Emotive, Animals
Date Uploaded: Dec 4, 2006

A shallow depth of field shot of a mummified cat discovered while urban exploring in Buffalo. Bast, the devourer, well played out here as the tables turn on her.

Emotive and indicative of the transience of all life, Bast also shows us that there is beauty in death.

I thought of commenting on all the shots in this challenge, and hence I am but I don't think I can look at it long enough to actually comment something useful about the picture itself - 5
