At last! This little critter has been in my house for a while so finally caught him as he was about to take the bait. I hope this doesnt upset anyone I just thought it was so fitting of the challenge and after all the mess it made I am not really sad to see it go

i almost shed a tear looking at this image, animal cruelty being a personal sore spot.. but death being the subject and all I think its a beautiful photograph and the power to draw emotion from within someone in any manner of a captured image is well worth reward.
You know... as much as it hurts me to look at this image (I had pet mice) I am gonna bump your score up some because I think that among the dead animal pictures this is one of the ones that got the artistic aspect down a little better. Things are in focus, lighting seems good, composition is decent, colors are good.
This seems pretty mean, i REALLY hope you found him like this and didn't set the trap just for this shot. Either way i dont like it, so 3, only giving the 3 cuz the Dof is nice, and i gotta give points for the composition not just the content
