This is a really nice pic. It's quite a different spin from the usual dark themes seen in most graveyard photos. Great job.

Been away for some time, didn't see this one. It's wonderful and has such a nice display on a somber theme. Congratulations, well deserved placement.

Lovely composition. The star on the Sun and the trees look great.

Great shot!.....How do you like the new road up there? I was the PM for the 8 mile section from Utah line to Preston that just completed construction this year :) There are definitely some neat photo ops in your neck of the woods.

I like the way you put the Sun on top of the grave stone. Nicely balanced image.

Nicely framed :: nice color tones :: tree spacing & pattern is quite nice :: great positioning :: a bit too much contrast for my tastes | detail gets lost, maybe due to too much compression? -- 8 --

I've tried similar shots with much less success. This is really lovely to look at. 8

I knew there would be a fair share of gravestones in this challenge, hence the most of them lacking a point for creativity. This one breaks that plane though, and is really the stand alone "1" I will remember of all the gravestones I have seen so far. GL. 8.
