I like the vision behind this photo. Fits the challenge well and has a high interest impact. Colors are good as is lighting. I wish the focus was a little sharper though. A solid capture over all. 7
This image had great potential, but the overall poor quality of the image completely overwhelms the fact you framed your subject well and that you got a great pose. Technical image quality is the first step toward a great picture.
This shot is really pixilated - did you use a digital zoom by chance to get this close? I like the deer’s alertness, but the background elements are very distracting. I think I would have also skipped the heavy black border; it doesn't help the image at all. Obviously meets the challenge.
