Out in th early pre-dawn, or just before pre-dawn. At night actually, I guess, about an hour before sunrise this was taken. The black was already black except for one small star trail that was cropped out of the submitted image. I was pleased with this image for its clarity and vibrant whites and lines.

I really like how the needle stands out, but would like it more if there was something to make the sky interesting. Of course that would make the needle not stand out so much so maybe I am just wrong. Great photo none the less!
