The irony is this is the FIRST piucture of a flower i have ever taken and I just entered it to see if people would like it. And they did!
I shot using a soft box to get the backlighting with a single light out front.

I only gave three 10s in this challenge & your submission got one. This was a very tough challenge & what I assume some nitpicked over I found made it stand out from the others - congrats!
They look transparent. It is light on white. There is something "not real" about this image, was it intentional? I'm on the fence as to wether it works or not. ~6
you have to tell me, what was your lighting setup? I love the backlight, making the flowers almost translucent. I had wanted to do this very same thing, but was unsuccessful in getting it to work. please share.
