Two of my favorite people! Just took this quick, pretty much candid snap today while on a family walk. The sun was low and bright - hence the washed out spots and of course she has part of dinner on her cheek! I edited this pic just to have for ourselves and when Tim saw it he thought I should enter it. So I did - even though I'm afraid it's going to get kicked hard for being a kid/family shot. Oh well, I love it and will cherish it!
Boring details: Shot in raw - raw conversions (exposure compensation, sharpness, highlight & shadow). Elements - unsharp mask, neat image, levels, brightness & contrast, hue saturation, color variations, crop, stroke, save for web.

Yes..... I totally agree, this is definately so, so underderrated.....
I love this one Aimee, but I think you knew that by my comment to you.....I wasn;t sure who took it as it could have been either of you. I just love it, well done sweet girl.
A very sweet and heart warming portrait. I love her expression and eyes. So adorable. I also like the use of speia tones for this. It makes your image seem timeless. Good luck in the challenge.
That is a very lucky little girl! I wish every little girl could be so lucky to have such obvious love and devotion for their child! You're awesome! Oh. . .great photo too. It doesn't look posed, but more like a special moment was captured!
Great portrait! Her expression and look are very cute.
On the tech aspect, it totally meets the challenge and I like the sepia too. My only observation is about too much light coming from the right side.
Plus: Wow, crisp, great lighting, expression well captured
Minus: need to feel the diagonal more (if it was a parent child challenge, I'd give you a 10)
Score: 6
Love this one Tim, or is it Aimie, either way, a winner in my book.....
What a georgeous smile from such a cutie, and not you Tim, but that beautiful daughter of yours.....
