It was a very cloudy, rainy, and dreary day today and I thought the mood fit the theme of "all alone". Converted to B&W and added the diffuse glow filter in PS7.

it is likely just a personal thing with me but I really get an awful of feeling from this shot, can\'t find anything to criticize, my highest score in this challenge
I'd really prefer that people leave explanations out of their titles (that's why the DQ process exists... let it do its job :) Having said that, I really like the shot and the tone it sets!
Very nice affect, really gives the image a soft look which helps heighten the feeling of alone - especially since it brings out the solitary figure's sharpness against the background. I love the mood of this image. Great job 8
