Challenge: Light on White III (Advanced Editing V)
Camera: Canon EOS-350D Rebel XT
Lens: Sigma 105mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro for Canon
Location: San Francisco
Date: Nov 22, 2006
Aperture: f22
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1/30th
Galleries: Nature, Still Life
Date Uploaded: Nov 22, 2006

Shot outside on a nice cloudy day and used a fill flash.
Converted from RAW and adjusted slightly for flash.
Minimal post processing. Selected out the sky and used curves to make it perfectly white. Dodged some shadows left by flash. Sharpened edges.

Tulip head is lovely. Stem looks like you did some photoshop work that didn't quite get softened out enough.

I could be wrong about what I'm looking at, but the processing along the stem looks a little rough.

I little too close and soft. I wish I could see more shades of white.
