Wow, such a wonderful view and perspective, would be a great postcard, Congrats on that score, I know how you feel about the no honorable mention, but your shot is much better than mine :). Way to find the simple beauty in a complex structure.

WTG Matt! One of my few 10's. "7.47 and not even an Honorable Mention"....what a bitch.

Excellent photo. However you should be cautious, since you're not actually allowed to take photographs of the Eiffel Tower at night since the lights are copyrighted. You should definately not attemt to sell this as prints or stock or you could get into mucho trouble. More Info

simply a great postcard - where can i buy one?

a little color in the sky would make this a lot stronger IMO - like 45 minutes after sundown. The black is very oppresive to the composition

good idea to use landscape format. nice and somple approach, color, border and text go well together. a bit oversharpened.

What a unique shot of the Eiffel Tower. I am sure I have seen night shots, and I am sure I have seen shots looking straight up, but I don't think I have seen the two combined before. Great lighting and detail.

classic shot of a great monument...i like the perspective of being almost directly underneath it...towering over you

That says Paris to me. It's a beautiful shot and I think it would be a popular postcard.

Wonderful! Love the perspective view.

Wow, the idea was great. On my monitor it looks a bit oversharpened or something. Lacks detail at the bottom, at least in this awful monitor :) lovely postcard though.

so cool. maybe smaller font though

The vantage point is very nice, and you got a lot of nice detail in the entire structure. It's like I can see every beam! And the background is so nice and black.
