The background should either be more out of focus or completely in focus, but this is just my opinion based on my likes. I do like the cat.

Great colors and I like the focus. I think the lighting is good, though the slight glare off the collar is a bit distracting. The subject is good - the title helps bring the sense of solitude to the image, fits the challenge very well. Solid photo. 6
