The flash unit on the Minolta is a slave unit. The picture was actually taken with the in-camera flash in a Nikon Coolpix 990 set to 1/4 power and a second slave unit to one side of the Minolta.

Last?! Well, i think that's underserved, certainly. Not a winner, but hey.
The idea's fine - in fact perhaps one of the better ideas for this challenge, but the execution is certainly what's brought your score so low. I have no idea how possible it is to get a clean, un-noisey image of a camera below such a bright flash, without resorting to double-exposures and the like, but had you been able to do that the score would be a load higher. Also, something to black out the background around the Minolta would have helped, those lines of tthe door and window(?) look like an accident.
I assume this was taken in a mirror? The concept is interesting, but I think the picture quality is a little low. It has quite a lot of noise, probably from the low light prior to the flash. And as one expects from a flash in the face, it is a little blinding too.
I think the flash is far too bright and dominant in this image. That may have been your intention - but I don't think it's a strong point. It may have been better if you were further away from the subject and some of that bright light could have diffused a bit.
Shows lighting well, a different perspective, but it fails to capture my attention. The focus seems a little off, but that could be because of the intense light from the flash. Its an interesting idea, but the execution falls a little short for me. 4
I like how it appears as if you're shooting with a film camera. I'm not sure I like the flash going off though. It is absolutely screaming at me and makes it hard for me to look at the rest of the image.
A little too much flash here. I think you would have benifited from a faster shutter speed here with some sorrounding light against a black backdrop to comensate for the shutter.
