 Rented a 400mm 2.8 for a Football game on Friday, so I had it for the whole weekend. Ended up out at The Huntington Beach Nature Preserve out on Pacific Coast Highway to watch around 8 or so Pelicans feedind all around us, it was real cool, had a lot of fun.

Really nice capture. Ideally I'd like the pelican to be on the right hand side of the frame (or at least right of center). I would suspect that you did some cropping on this so I would also suspect this is possible.

I really like the detail you captured and the frozen drops of water are terrific.
