If the flash in the shade had blasted off, then the 'short-circuit look' would have been perceivable. It needed that electrical flash which you could only get via the slave unit or by using fireworks.. ;-)Message edited by author 2006-12-04 12:07:17.

This is a fun picture and it's well done. I think the only way it could be improved (slightly) is if there were a little less light on her dress/body so that the lamp and lampshade were emphasized more.

Cute idea! Very original. It would have been so cute if you could have had light coming from inside the lamp shade! I think that's what this shot is missing.
