This is one of my favorite shots I have ever taken. I had been in a photo rut and feeling rather uninspired at what I was doing. This photo makes me want to take more photos, I love all the elements of comp, leading lines, natural surrondings and the human elements. I am very happy I could shoot something I am really proud of and have it do well.

Loved this shot in challenge and actually thought that there was a chance that this was a Goodman image. An excellent image that is just so pleasing to allow your eye to wander around and take in all the separate elements that create a wonderful whole. This was one of my top picks.
Finding some way to snip off and perfect some distortion of the Universe, that is the essence of photography. This is the essence of photography. The running child keeps this from being too cold. It's all just part of the fine-tuning of this perfection. 10
Well, I wouldn't call it 'perfect' or give it a 10 (coz I feel light and tonalities can be improved upon), but, otherwise, posthumous has it perfectly right: this is a photographer's photo, a classic (something that just won't go stale), really, with a poise of a composition.
